Computer LabA writers' workshop where attendees will write together using prompts provided by the facilitator. Using the Amherst Writers & Artists method, participants will receive feedback on their work.
Join Judy Jaeger, certified Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) workshop facilitator, for a writing workshop that will amplify your creativity and fill your soul. Participants will write together to prompts provided by Judy and then read their work aloud. Judy will guide the group in delivering strengths-based feedback following AWA’s essential practices and guidelines. Wherever you are in your writing practice—writing for years or thinking of giving it a try—you’re welcome in this fun and restorative workshop! Please bring a willingness to try something new and something to write with—pen/pencil and notebook, or digital device.
Judy Jaeger is a novelist and professional communicator based in central Massachusetts. She is the author of the novel The Secret Thief and The Art of After 50, her Substack (judithjaeger73.substack.com) where she writes personal essays from the perch of midlife. She has a nearly 30-year career in higher-education communications. Judy is certified in the Amherst Writers & Artists method, which adheres to the core belief that every person is a writer, and every writer deserves a safe environment in which to experiment, learn, and develop craft.
