Free access to tools and technology in the Innovation Center. For experienced users who have completed an orientation only.
Enjoy free access to tools and technology in our Innovation Center during Open Maker Hours. These hours will be staffed with a knowledgeable librarian who will provide Open Maker Hour orientations and answer simple questions regarding Innovation Center equipment.
Open Maker Hours are available to valid CW MARS cardholders age 12 or older who complete an orientation and agree to follow the Usage Guidelines and Library's Patron Behavior Policy.
Patrons who are between the ages of 12-17 years of age need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who has also completed an orientation.
For experienced users only. Open Maker Hours are not classes. Users must know how to use the equipment and be capable of handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Patrons who require tool training will be referred to our classes and programs.
Open Maker Hours are on a first come, first served basis. Check in with the librarian in the Innovation Center during Open Maker Hours for access.
