Kate McEvoy currently serves as the Vice President, External Affairs & Corporate Relations at Old Sturbridge Inc, in Sturbridge, MA. In this role she oversees government relations, legislative & community affairs and corporate relationships & partnerships.
Prior to OSU, Kate spent more than two decades as a senior executive in the health care industry, serving as Vice President for Corporate Affairs at UMass Memorial Health Care, Vice President for Central & Western MA Markets at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Senior Director for Government & Community Relations at Fallon Community Health Plan.
Selected as Grand Marshal of the 2025 Worcester County St Patrick’s Parade, Kate has a robust resume of volunteer leadership and service to local community organizations.
In 2021, Kate was tapped to helm the planning and fundraising for The Worcester Tercentennial, a multi-faceted, community-wide celebration in honor of the 300th birthday of Worcester, Massachusetts. She has received numerous community awards and recognitions including the YWCA of Central MA’s Katherine F Erskine Award, Worcester State University's Distinguished Alumni Award, and has been named one of Worcester Business Journal’s Outstanding Women In Business, a Worcester Magazine Hometown Hero, Woman to Watch and member of the Power 50.
Kate lives in Worcester with her husband Michael and their three dogs.
