Warm up with some hot cocoa and check out the Friends of Worcester Public Library book sale!

Join all the fun on the Worcester Common and be sure to stop by the Worcester Public Library until 8:30 PM (the only Friday night we are open the whole year) to warm up with some hot cocoa and check out the Friends of Worcester Public Library book sale!

The 2025 Festival of Lights in Worcester is a free, family-friendly event that kicks off the city's winter lighting installation on Friday, December 5th, from 4:30 PM to 9 PM at the Worcester Common. It features a tree lighting ceremony, live music by headliner Ricky Duran, ice skating, numerous lighting displays, food vendors, and performances. The lighting installation will remain on display through March 1, 2026.
