We’re excited to welcome local maple syrup producer Bruce Hopper, who will walk us through how this liquid gold is made - from tapping the trees to boiling the sap.
Bruce will also share the many delicious ways to enjoy real maple syrup. Get ready for sweet stories, expert tips, and maple-inspired treats you’ll want to try right away!
Bruce Hopper and Ed “Sully” Sullivan started Pure BS Maple Shack in search of the perfect topping for their Boy Scout camp pancakes. What began as a few friends tapping trees in a backyard eventually grew into a delightfully untraditional maple farm—one that captures the sweetness of Auburn, a welcoming old New England village.
Using a unique blend of individually selected Sugar, Norwegian, and Red Maple trees, Sapmasters Bruce and Sully have hand-tapped the very best of Massachusetts to create their exceptional maple syrup.
