"How Journalism Works" Panel Discussion 2: “How Do You Cover City Hall?”
Moderator: Dianne Williamson worked for the Telegram & Gazette for more than 35 years, 25 of them spent penning her popular and sometimes hilarious news column before retiring in 2018. From the murder of Candace Scola, to the exoneration of a Vietnamese immigrant wrongly charged with a fatal stabbing on Vernon Hill in 1989, she, as she wrote in her farewell column, “knocked on doors and asked questions that normal people would be ashamed to ask, because that's what we do.”
Panel:
Adam Bass is a reporter for MassLive that covers Worcester and Worcester County. He has previously worked for the Lynn Daily Item, The North Star Reporter in North Attleborough and WBSM-AM in New Bedford.

His interest in literature and history had led to essays published in the cultural Albanian-language magazine Peizazhe të Fjalës.
