Goddard BranchLearn how to dye textiles using natural materials.
Children ages 8-12 are invited to the Goddard Branch for a six week program where particpants will lean the whole process of natural dyeing with indigo plants, spinning wool, and weaving the dyed yarn to make a scarf with Mihoko Textiles. Space is limited to 12. Tickets will be issued 30 minutes before the program starts.
September 22 - Dyeing a scarf with indigo grown in the Regional Environmental Council School Garden at Goddard
September 29 - Making wool yarn
October 6 - Dyeing yarn with indigo
October 13 - Dyeing with marigold
October 20 - Weaving a scarf
October 27 - Open house at the Goddard Branch
