Let’s Float a Boat: Summer Sculpture Workshop Series

Ages 8-12

Create sculptures with Worcester-based mixed media artist Bayda Asbridge! We'll meet monthly on Thursdays throughout the summer to sculpt boats and tell stories. Join us for any or all sessions.

Mark your calendars for June 4, July 9, and August 20!

June 4: Create paper and origami boats in different sizes using colored paper

July 9: Create boats, masts, and sails using air dry clay and canvas

August 20: Create boats using natural materials like twigs, bark, and leaves

Do you remember the adventure stories Where the Wild Things Are and The Owl and the Pussycat? After you’ve finished your sculpture, you’ll write a short paragraph about an imaginary journey.
