Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by learning about sashiko, a form of Japanese embroidery!
Ages 12-18 are invited to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month at the Goddard Branch Library! Countries across Asia have rich traditions of embroidery and fiber art. Join us to learn about the Japanese art of sashiko embroidery.
The Goddard Branch is a public library located inside the Goddard School of Science & Technology, and is part of the One City, One Library initiative. It was made possible thanks to the generous support of UMass Chan Medical School and the Hanover Insurance Group Foundation.
