In honor of National Native American Heritage Month, we will be discussing the #1 New York Times bestseller, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann. Grann's award winning book recounts the true story of how a white businessman orchestrated the brutal murders of numerous members of the Osage Nation tribe in early 1920s Oklahoma. It was one of the first major cases to be investigated by the newly formed FBI and the book was adapted into a critically acclaimed film directed by Martin Scorsese.
